The Institut français de Fès is organizing two events
Exhibition: Women Under the Grip of Codes
Siham Tahri, visual artist
Opening: Friday, November 27, 2026, 7 PM, Institut Gallery
From November 27 to December 26, 2026.
Through this exhibition, painter Siham Tahri offers an engaged reflection on violence against women and the social, cultural, and legal mechanisms that perpetuate it. As part of the project "The World Under the Grip of Codes," the exhibition uses the QR code as both an artistic medium and a metaphor for the norms and laws that shape life paths. By combining contemporary art and digital interaction, it invites the public, especially younger generations, to reflect on issues related to equality, women's rights, and various forms of violence. An exhibition at the crossroads of art, civic engagement, and digital innovation.
