Youth Spectacle for Ages 10 and Up
The extraordinary story of Mustapha d'Azzemour, known as "Esteban el Negro," the discoverer of the golden cities. At the very beginning of the 16th century, a few years after Christopher Columbus, a daring and talented young Moroccan was to become the first known African to set foot in the New World. During an extraordinary journey worthy of the finest adventure novels, Estevanico d'Azemmour will, in turn, be a slave, interpreter, explorer, healer, and even a shaman! The second installment of the "Tell Me the Extraordinary Morocco" project, "Estevanico," once again takes us along the fascinating traces of the forgotten pages of the Moroccan kingdom's history. A true epic, intertwining storytelling and music, this show invites both young and old with energy and generosity for an hour of pleasure, discovery, laughter, and songs!
