What’s on
Hajar Azell, a writer born in Rabat, is trained in philosophy and economics. After working as a consultant, she dedicated herself to writing and teaching. From 2013 to 2020, she directed Onorient, a web magazine dedicated to emerging artists from North Africa and the Middle East. Following L'Envers de l'été (2021) and Le sens de la fuite (2025, Prix de la Grande Mosquée de Paris), she published Lettre à une introvertie in 2026.
In this intimate text, she addresses a letter to her young cousin Imane, whose drawings published online reveal a unique sensitivity. Through this correspondence, Hajar Azell celebrates the strength of introverted beings, self-confidence, and the power of imagination, inviting everyone to find their own voice and invent their place in the world.
