What’s on
Born in Tangier (Morocco) in 1970, Ghizlaine Chraïbi grew up in Casablanca, where she attended Lycée Lyautey (French School), until she passed her Baccalaureate. She later obtained a master's degree in communication from the University of Ottawa in Canada, her adopted country, where she spent nearly 20 years.
Ghislaine Chraibi will come to present her latest novel, Toujours Hot!, a work that is at once sensitive, funny, and deeply liberating.
Through the journey of two women who exchange their experiences, doubts, and desires with great freedom, the author delicately addresses a subject still too often shrouded in silence: menopause. But far beyond this stage of life, Toujours Hot! is a reflection on women's freedom, self-acceptance, the gaze on the body, the weight of social injunctions, and the right to flourish at any age.
