Our review
Rue Haroun Errachid, in the heart of Hivernage, Babouchka has chosen baroque to dress up the night: red velvet banquettes edged with fringe, wolf pelts, and decor that embraces its eccentricity. On the turntables, resident DJs hold a house and afro line, regularly joined by guests from abroad, and dancers come to reinvigorate the dance floor as the evening progresses.
Doors open at midnight and the music runs until 5 a.m. Cocktails are more crafted than the average club, and when the room is full and the DJ is in form, the energy lasts all night. The welcome at the entrance is smiling and table service knows how to be attentive. It's a club for going out in a group, booking a table and extending the evening after a dinner in Hivernage.
Know this: everything revolves around the tables, priced very high (several thousand dirhams), with rates that seem to vary according to the client and sometimes poorly placed spots; confirm prices and location before committing. Air conditioning struggles on nights of heavy crowds. Well prepared, the night can be beautiful.
