Fish House Al Aachabe review: our verdict
The concept comes from Tangier and hasn't changed along the way: no menu, just a single list that runs from start to finish. First, fish soup and small bowls of olives, dried fruits, and chili, followed by a fish tajine with herbs and shrimp, grilled fish served on a wooden board, and finally fruit. Homemade juices accompany everything.
The dining room, located at the corner of Allal El Fassi and Yacoub El Mansour avenues, opposite a Carrefour Express, is well-appointed: light wood, striped tablecloths, doum place settings, a large earthenware jar at the entrance, and a chandelier on the ceiling. It's the spot for a hearty lunch after visiting Majorelle, with family or friends. Not for those who want to choose their dish, nor for a light meal.
The trap: arrive without hunger, the menu is generous. The right slot: lunch, coming out of the Majorelle garden. To note: open every day, from noon to 11 p.m.
