Lily Billy review: our verdict
A juice called Collagen Glow: the name says almost everything about Lily Billy, a brunch that aims to be pretty, fresh, and a bit wellness-oriented. The plates are varied, generous, well-presented, with fresh ingredients, and it's often the dessert that we remember when leaving, more than the savoury dishes.
Plush chairs, elegant decor, impeccable dining room down to the cutlery: we come here with a group for a lingering brunch, alone for a coffee and a plate, or for a quiet break with air conditioning and wifi. Service is quick and smiling, even when a dish disappoints. Not for Sunday, the day it's closed, which is surprising for a brunch spot, nor for pancake purists: those with mascarpone have already been served with simple cream instead.
The dish to order: a dessert, the house's strong suit. The good find: the Collagen Glow, order it even if you're not eating. The trap: the mascarpone pancakes, inconsistent from one time to the next.
