Riad Kheirredine review: our verdict
At Riad Kheirredine, you don't count the patios; you walk through them: intricate zellige tiles, carved plasterwork, sculpted columns, banana trees, and tables set at every turn. Above, terraces overlook the medina at sunset, featuring a heated rooftop pool. The spa includes several private hammam cabins, an indoor heated pool, and a gym—a rarity for a riad.
The house caters to couples: honeymoons, anniversaries, or getaways for two. Welcome begins at the airport and continues at the medina meeting point, where a porter takes your luggage. In the evening, many opt to dine on-site rather than go out, enjoying a cuisine that blends Moroccan flavors with Italian, Spanish, and French influences, served on the roof or in the patio by the fire in winter. This is not a riad for a tight budget or a group looking to party.
The insider tip: book the airport transfer, which saves you from searching for the entrance in the Sidi Ben Slimane quarter. The best time to visit: dinner on the terrace, when the medina lights up below.
