S-Lounge by Buddha-Bar review: our verdict
The Buddha-Bar name promises a plush atmosphere, and the Palais Tazi offers a setting that matches the bill. S-Lounge brings the brand's Tanger recipe to life: live music, a terrace, air-conditioned dining, and a varied menu ranging from tapas to sushi and sashimi, with the right selection of cocktails to accompany.
You settle in for a drink that lingers or a dinner for two, more for the atmosphere than for the plate, which is correct but no more. The welcome is attentive, but the pace of service remains the weak point: in summer 2025, sushi took an hour to arrive in an otherwise empty room, and dessert and the bill followed the same tempo. If you have another outing planned afterward, a flight to catch, or tired children, it's better to pass.
The trap: coming in a hurry, as the house moves at its own pace. The right slot: late afternoon on the terrace, glass in hand, when the setting matters more than speed. The insider tip: book ahead, as on-site parking simplifies arrival.
