Bazz'Art Lounge review: our verdict
At Bazz'Art Lounge, the walls speak: large pop art portraits in saturated colors, cement tiles with polka dots, yellow armchairs, and a terrace planted with grasses under a wooden pergola. It is the restaurant-lounge of the Novotel in Hivernage, open from 8 am to 1 am, designed to encourage you to linger.
The menu offers variety: burgers, pesto pasta, tapas such as meatballs or cheese sticks, and a breakfast buffet. The service is friendly and available, and the prices remain reasonable for Hivernage. It is the spot for a drink on the terrace, a quick lunch, or a relaxed meeting; not for a dinner where the cuisine must impress, as execution is uneven from dish to dish.
The good tip: the terrace in the late afternoon, when it lights up under the palms. The pitfall: the breakfast buffet, with no surprise for the price asked. The best slot: the aperitif, before continuing the evening in the quarter.
