Our review
There are two reasons to queue up at MÖ-MÖ, and the first is the view: from the terraces, Jemaa el-Fna spreads out just below, with its vapours and lights. On the plate, simple but generous Mediterranean-Moroccan cuisine: well-seasoned hummus, falafels, spiced keftas, mezze to share.
The team manages the crowd with the coolness of a station master: no reservations, a line that moves forward, dishes arriving quickly even when it's packed. Perfect for a lunch between friends in the heart of the medina or a first dinner in Marrakech. Less so for a quiet meal: here, the buzz of the square is part of the menu.
The dish to order: the hummus with falafels, which is the best value. The trap: settling for the indoor dining room, pretty but without the view—wait for the terrace. The right time slot: outside peak hours; at meal times, count on about twenty minutes of waiting.
