Our review
Rue Moulay Ali, in Guéliz, just off the Renaissance, Dal Corso blends Italian and Corsican cuisine with a few Moroccan nods. The gesture that draws all eyes: flambéed pasta with truffle, rolled at the table in a wheel of Parmesan. The rest of the menu follows, with al dente scampi pasta, a Rossini beef fillet, or lamb chops.
At night, the atmosphere heats up: DJ, bartender show, crafted cocktails, and tapas to wait out. Desserts also put on a show, from revisited tiramisu served theatrically to homemade white chocolate dessert with a frozen heart of red fruits. The service is smiling and attentive, advising without pushing. Come as a couple, with friends, or on family vacation; at lunch, daily menus allow for a more sensible break.
Know this: the cuisine isn't always equal from dish to dish, and the bill climbs quickly, around 190 dirhams for the scampi pasta and 80 for a dessert. Closed on Sunday, open the rest of the week from noon to 2 pm; book for dinner. For an evening that starts at the table and ends in music, this address puts on a show.
