Ima Nature review: our verdict
Ima Nature's hammam is nothing like a hotel setting: a vaulted room tiled in white veined stone, two stone benches, buckets, and light filtering through a small opening. The ritual follows the classic order of heat, scrub, and argan oil massage, and the house also offers facial treatments, including hydrafacials, and a pedicure corner.
The address, on rue de Safi in the Battoir quarter, attracts those seeking a local hammam rather than a complex spa: couples, friends, mother and daughter. The team responds quickly to book appointments and the welcoming atmosphere puts you at ease. It is not a luxury spa with a pool and panoramic relaxation room: it is a simple, clean institute at affordable prices.
The good deal: the Imanature pack, which combines a hammam, a one-hour massage, and a facial treatment. The pitfall: arriving without an appointment, as the institute operates by reservation only. The best time slot: late afternoon after the beach, as the house opens daily from 10 am to 9 pm.
