Le Resto by Palmeraie Country Club review: our verdict
The view is the main selling point, as everyone knows: the tables overlooking the club and the greenery of Bouskoura are the most sought-after in the dining room. For lunch, the all-you-can-eat buffet lines up fresh salads, grilled items, hot dishes, and desserts in a spacious, bright area that opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 1 p.m.
The venue suits family meals or gatherings with friends when you want to eat heartily outdoors without heading into town. Service is efficient and friendly when things go smoothly, but it has its flaws: hasty seating and a rising tone with one server. Romantic dinners where every detail counts will go elsewhere, as will pizza lovers: the recipe has changed, and not for the better.
The pitfall: arriving without a reservation, as tables with a view are assigned first and the rest of the dining room is more cramped. The good tip: the lunch buffet, to taste everything without having to choose, in the brightest part of the day.
