Le Spa Royal Mansour Casablanca review: our verdict
A heated pool overlooking the city, where you can watch the sun set over Casablanca, is the image that remains of the Royal Mansour spa on avenue des FAR. Before diving in, you pass through pink marble changing rooms, then into a traditional hammam on warm marble, conducted with Moroccan products, all after a welcome drink of hibiscus and date.
The menu ranges from facial treatments to plantar reflexology, including a duo massage, while an on-site hair salon extends the session with blow-drying, cutting, or hair care, frequented by regulars who return for their stylist. People come for a day of disconnection or a moment for two, finishing with a stop at the hotel's sushi bar. There is no point in coming for a quick flash hammam between appointments: everything here invites you to take your time, even in the plush lounge where you relax with tea and a biscuit in hand.
The best time to arrive is late in the day, so you can be in the water at sunset. The best tip: combine the hammam, treatment, and hair salon on the same day, as the salon is on-site.
