Our review
Meydene
At the heart of M Avenue, Marrakech's pedestrian street, Meydene tells the story of Morocco in a different way: an immersive journey where projections, sound, and set design bring the city, its artisans, and its traditions to life. The venue also features a 400-seat auditorium for performances and a rooftop where you can dine surrounded by Moroccan cuisine.
The tour is guided, and the welcoming staff quickly put you at ease: follow the route at your own pace, stop in front of the large projections, and finish up on top. A great outing for two, with friends or children. In October 2026, Meydene will also host the heart of the Marrakech Photography Festival: screenings of winners, an exhibition by Massimiliano Gatti, and a closing evening with the presentation of the Yzza Slaoui Discovery Prize.
Keep in mind: this is a fully staged experience, more of a show than a museum—for ancient pieces, head to the medina. Open every day from 10 am to 10 pm, making it perfect to fit in late in the day, before a rooftop dinner.
