Our review
Arabica Marrakech
Located in local L07 on M Avenue, % Arabica has entrusted its decor to the Ciguë studio: white plaster walls, hand-painted glazed tiles, earth-floored counters, and a Chemex battery set up like a riad fountain. On the coffee side, the house roasts on-site and offers around twenty blends, available as espresso, flat white, or filter. The Kyoto latte is the drink to try, with plant-based milks available for those who wish. The baristas know their craft and serve with a smile, and the little pastries go well with a coffee. The large mirror is a hit with photo lovers. The place is mostly alive in the late afternoon, when you find yourself there with friends after shopping; the wifi allows for a few emails, but it's not the spot for a long work session. Open from 8 am to midnight, every day. Note: supply has its hiccups, with cup sizes or coffees sometimes unavailable, and the room lacks freshness during peak heat. Taste can also vary from visit to visit. When everything is in place, it's one of the good cups on this side of the city.
