NĀMA Rooftop review: our verdict
The name has changed, but the view remains the same. The rooftop that once housed Akira Back at the very top of the Pestana CR7 on M Avenue is now called NĀMA and serves Eurasian cuisine. The terrace still overlooks Marrakech, and it is this spot that people seek out as the sun sets over the city, glass in hand.
The new menu is too recent to judge on its own: under the former sign, precisely cut sushi, knowledgeable service, and cocktails carried the evening, and it remains to be seen what NĀMA retains. The venue suits an aperitif facing the city, a dinner for two, or a late-night birthday celebration, with music that builds throughout the evening. It is not for hushed conversation or a tight budget: under Akira Back, the bill exceeded 1,700 DH for two (recorded in November 2025), and there is no indication that the house has lowered its standards.
The good tip: Ladies Night on Tuesday, with a complimentary drink for women. The best time slot: sunset, by reserving a table facing the city; the rooftop opens every evening from 5 pm to 2 am.
