Palmeraie Golf Palace review: our verdict
Endless arcades, sculpted ceilings, moldings, and chandeliers: the Palmeraie Golf Palace relies on grand Moroccan decor on a resort scale. The estate stretches along a golf course in the Palmeraie, featuring terrace pools, a covered pool lined with arches, a gym under a timber framework, and a hammam topped with a carved wooden dome.
This is a destination for family stays or major events: plentiful and varied buffets, subtle entertainment, conference rooms, and a free shuttle to the city center so you don't feel trapped. It is not the choice for an intimate weekend or those expecting flawless service: reception varies from one staff member to another, and billing has already been an issue for some guests.
The good tip: the shuttle to the city center, which avoids taxis from the Palmeraie; it does not serve the airport. The best time slot: late afternoon on the terrace, facing the golf course. The trap: organizing a seminar without settling the billing question beforehand.
