Tsood review: our verdict
A Moroccan café invented on the spot: that's what you order at Tsood, a specialty coffee shop that takes brewing seriously, though the roast is average, without renouncing its roots. In a quiet alley near the Kasbah, the organic menu blends current trends with Moroccan snacks, featuring cakes and pastries that catch the eye of sweet-toothed visitors.
The welcome is so warm that you naturally linger, making it a good stop between visits to the Marshan, whether alone or with a companion. On the savory side, the promise falls short: the avocado toast disappointed in August 2026, including industrial cheese, and brunch isn't the reason to come. Filter coffee purists will also note its absence, and the selection of fresh juices remains limited.
The dish to order: a pastry with homemade Moroccan coffee. The trap: the amlou pancake served with a banana not mentioned on the menu, in case of allergy. The good time slot: Tuesday to Sunday until 9 pm; on Monday, the house closes at 5 pm.
