Our review
Avenue Akioud, Semlalia side, Arterre is Min Tourrab's clay studio. In charge is Zineb Triki, a ceramicist, teacher, and art therapist, who has been passing on the craft of working with clay for over fifteen years. People come to try out the potter's wheel, modeling, and ceramics, and leave with what they have shaped themselves.
The studio is bright, well-equipped, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. Zineb explains step by step, from theory to gesture, adapting the pace to each person's level: complete beginners as well as hands already seasoned find their place. The venue welcomes families with children, groups of friends, and couples, and also offers private lessons, introductions to drawing, painting, and sculpture, as well as art therapy sessions. A morning that breaks the monotony of the souks during a stay in Marrakech.
Know this: expect to pay more than 490 dirhams for a studio session, and book your session in advance, specifying if you are coming with children. The studio opens every day, from 9 am on weekdays. You leave with hands full of clay and a rested mind.
