Brasserie Flâneur review: our verdict
Cozy alcoves lined with travel memories, plush armchairs, and light filtering through long curtains: since July 2025, Brasserie Flâneur has taken centre stage at Sofitel Tour Blanche, opening directly onto the lobby. The acknowledged inspiration is the English club and holiday villa, with sixty covers and jazz as background music during the day.
The menu doesn't seek boldness: risotto, club sandwich, Caesar salad, and opposite, a selection of Moroccan classics. It's a table for a business lunch near the port, a break between meetings in Sidi Belyout, or a reunion seeking a relaxed setting without the trappings of fine dining. Those looking for chef's cuisine that surprises or a rushed grab-and-go meal will go elsewhere: you come here for the lounge as much as for the plate.
The best slot: afternoon tea time, when the place is most faithful to its lounge concept. The best deal: the grand brunch, another good way to enjoy it without sleeping at the hotel.
