Cactus Café
At the corner of Avenue Abdelkrim El Khattabi, in Guéliz, Cactus Café wears three hats at once: café, small canteen, and backup office. In the morning, breakfast options go all out, from American to Moroccan; in the afternoon, it's crepes time, like the nutella-banana; in the evening, pizzas and spaghetti bolognese take the stage.
The setting is neat, with a large terrace, an indoor room, and a mezzanine on the upper floor where families gladly settle in. Fast wifi, power outlets within reach, and a calm atmosphere: students and remote workers spend hours there on their phones. A cat is part of the furniture, and the servers are quick and friendly. Breakfast remains the best value for money at the house: for six, you'll get away with around 200 dirhams.
Keep in mind: the toilets don't match up to the rest of the venue, and the "world" breakfasts, Turkish or Spanish, often boil down to a classic omelette. Parking in front is paid. For a studious morning or a brunch without going broke, it remains a practical address in Guéliz, open from 8am to midnight.
