Cook'in Kech review: our verdict
The decor sets the tone: bottle-green ceiling, gold lettering, wooden counter, and light tables, creating a chic yet unpretentious atmosphere. On the plate, Cook'in Kech blends Moroccan traditions with international classics: a generous vegetable couscous, omelettes, and breakfast plates with avocado toast and fresh fruit, alongside mint tea served on a silver tray, all prepared in a home-style kitchen using fresh ingredients.
The house opens from 8 a.m. until midnight, making it a destination for every moment of the day: breakfast before work, a quick lunch in the neighborhood, or a family dinner. The service is lively and smiling, and families are warmly welcomed. This is not a place for candlelit dinners or long nights out; it is a bright café-restaurant, not a lounge.
The dish to order: the couscous, generous and well-seasoned. The best deal: breakfasts served from 8 a.m., complete plates with freshly squeezed orange juice. The best time to visit: during Ramadan, when the house offers ftour menus, available on-site or for takeaway.
