Clay Oven Agadir review: our verdict
Ordered for two and still having leftovers when we left: at Clay Oven, Indian portions don't know the meaning of half-measures. Butter chicken, poulet tikka masala, cheese naan, the menu hits the major Indian classics, with fragrant sauces and a cuisine that happily lowers the heat when asked, without losing any flavor.
The tastefully decorated room offers a real change of scenery in the Palm Bay, at Founty, at the address of the Atlantic Ocean View hotel. Service is quick, attentive, and the manager is always happy to chat with the tables. It's the right address for a family mixing spice lovers and sensitive palates, or for a night out with friends who want to change from grills. For a light dinner, however, it's better to share: here, one plate per person is enough, and often more.
The dish to order: butter chicken with a cheese naan to dip. The tip: ask for a dish without spices for children or sensitive palates, the kitchen adapts without hesitation. Service every day from noon to 11 pm.
