Epictete review: our verdict
The wood-fired oven sets the tone for the cuisine, while the cleanliness defines the dining room: at Epictete, everything is meticulously maintained, from the beautifully arranged plates to the smallest corner. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes prepared with elegance, and the bill remains reasonable for this level of finish, just a few minutes from Bouskoura.
Couples, families, and groups of friends gather here for lunch and dinner, where the smiling and attentive staff closely monitor every table. During the World Cup, the dining room transformed into a viewing area for Morocco's matches, with an energy that brought supporters back from one game to the next. However, it is not suitable for late dinners: the kitchen closes at 10 p.m., and the house remains closed on Sundays.
The good tip: book for evenings of major matches, when the dining room fills with supporters. The pitfall: showing up on a Sunday, as the house is closed that day; from Monday to Saturday, the doors open as early as 8 a.m.
