Grignotière by la Grillardière review: our verdict
The morning café and pastry display have the Grignotière open since 7:30 AM, right by the road running from Bouskoura toward the airport. People stop here for a breakfast, a leisurely coffee, or a quiet morning in a clean, well-maintained room served by a friendly team that knows its regulars.
It's a good spot for locals wanting to unwind before the day or for a family break on the road. However, regarding the main dishes, the house no longer keeps the promise of its name: slightly tough skewers, a carrot-zucchini garnish that never changes, fries that come out too dark from the fryer, and prices that haven't followed the drop in quality. Not for a barbecue lunch where the meat must be perfect.
The good deal: breakfast, or a coffee with a pastry, the true expertise of the place. The trap: the barbecue, whose cooking varies from order to order, sometimes ending up charred. Open every day until 10 PM.
