Iberostar Waves Club Palmeraie Marrakech review: our verdict
At the Iberostar, everything is included and right on site. Palm-lined walks and flowerbeds lead to a large pool surrounded by sun loungers, a pink-columned lobby opens onto a series of lounges, and the buffet changes its dishes daily. The hotel now bears the name Iberostar Waves Club Palmeraie, with over three hundred rooms spread across the gardens.
The formula is designed for families: children's club, pool for the little ones, play area, sports activities and evening shows, with a very present animation team. The rooms are spacious, many with a terrace or garden access. This is not the address for a couple seeking the silence of a riad or a traveler coming to explore the medina: you are in the Palmeraie, and everything encourages you to stay at the club.
The good deal: leave the children with the animation and enjoy the pool in the late afternoon. The pitfall: staying there to visit Marrakech, the medina is about ten kilometers away.
