The Oberoi Marrakech review: our verdict
Between the entrance and the pool, there is a crossing that is enough to take your breath away: impeccable architecture, gardens and pools, an olive grove as a backdrop, and buggies to circulate in a domain that cannot be covered in three steps. On the Route d'Ouarzazate, The Oberoi has bet on space and silence, far from the city's tumult.
Service is the true signature: discreet, efficient, personalized, from the bellhop to the table, with a welcome that gives the impression of being waited for. You come here for a high-end getaway, two quiet nights of work, a lunch at the international restaurant, or a day by the water. In the evening, Rivayat, the hotel's Indian restaurant, takes over. Those who want to experience the medina on foot, go out late, or cross paths with people will be looking in the wrong place: everything here encourages slowing down.
Good tip: the day pass, to enjoy the pool and gardens without booking a room. Best time slot: lunch at the international restaurant, in the calm of the domain.
