Manzil La Tortue review: our verdict
At Manzil La Tortue, the day pass is more than just swimming rights: lunch is included, available either from the international menu or as a Moroccan set menu with starter, main course, and dessert. Surrounding the venue is a very long palm-lined pool, heated according to the season, and a pavilion topped with an orange dome that reflects in the water.
The guesthouse, set in the countryside, features sixteen rooms and Berber tents, maintaining an atmosphere of a quiet estate rather than a beach club. It is perfect for a day out with friends, a couple, or a break during your stay, but not suitable for families with young children as access is reserved for adults and those over 12. The present and smiling team does a lot to inspire a desire to return.
The price is 400 DH per person from 11:30 to 18:30, including lunch, a lounge chair, and a towel (reviewed October 2026). The best time to arrive is right at opening to enjoy the whole day. The pitfall: leaving without a car or a planned return, as the estate is about fifteen kilometers from the city.
