Kidz Ville review: our verdict
Here, children play out the lives of adults. A brick police station with its cell, a small red farm, a medical office, a grocery store, a garage, a hair salon, and a kitchen line up along a painted street with its floor markings. Kidz Ville has built a miniature town scaled for ages 3 to 12, and added a trampoline to let kids burn off energy between roles.
Staffed animators oversee the games and follow a program that changes regularly, allowing parents to do their shopping at the mall or treat themselves to an hour or two. Toddlers also find plenty to touch and explore. During school holidays, the mini-town organizes themed workshops. This is not a teen park or a budget outing: the rates are a bit steep for an hour of play.
The good tip: drop off your children while you run errands at Al Mazar. The pitfall: arriving with hungry kids, as there is nothing planned for snacks in the space. Note: open every day from 10 am to 10 pm, and some toys are showing their age.
