L'Art De Beauté Hammam & Massage review: our verdict
The premises appear simple, but it is upstairs where the real experience unfolds: a softly lit room, tea waiting, and treatments ranging from the royal hammam to massage, with options for facials, manicures, or pedicures. The venue also offers a massage specifically designed for pregnant women, performed with great gentleness and respect for each individual's needs.
Whether for an expectant mother, a break with friends, or the final day of a holiday in Agadir, the team knows how to put you at ease, and the owner provides sweets and a bottle of water when you need to wait. The hammam, however, is not a steam bath: the room is warm without being humid, and exfoliation begins immediately. Those who come to sweat for a long time in the steam will be disappointed, and the end of the massage can feel rushed, with bright lights at the conclusion.
The tip: call ahead, as an appointment can often be arranged within minutes. The most popular formula is the royal hammam followed by a massage. The house is open from 10 am to 9 pm, and from 9 am on Sundays, on rue Ifni.
