Katai Sushi review: our verdict
Katai is first and foremost defined by the freshness of its fish, which remains consistent with every visit. The trays arrive in wooden boats loaded with makis, uramakis, tempura rolls, and tuna and salmon sashimis, with the Sakura platter being the most spectacular on the menu. The hot dishes are equally impressive: chicken and marinated egg ramen, shrimp soup, and generously topped seafood noodle dishes.
The dining room opens wide to the light, and the terrace aligns its black armchairs in the sun in a quiet, clean corner. The service is attentive and fast. It's a place frequented by regulars, couples, or friends for an outdoor lunch; it's not designed for the counter experience facing the chef, as here you share large platters at the table.
The dish to order: the Sakura platter, to share. The bargain: the seafood noodles, at 75 DH (reviewed 2026). The best time to go: lunch on the terrace; the kitchen operates daily from noon to 1 pm.
