Restaurant Jade Asian Fusion review: our verdict
On a promenade dominated by grilled meats and pizzas, Jade makes a bold bet on Asian cuisine: carefully presented sushi, poke bowls, and Asian dishes on a menu broad enough to please the whole table. The melt-in-your-mouth salmon sets the tone, and the bar offers plenty to accompany the meal.
The terrace, shielded from the promenade by glass panels, is the venue's standout feature: it offers a quiet dining experience facing Agadir's beach, perfect for friends or couples, with some holidaymakers returning several times a week. Inside, however, kitchen noise quickly takes over. Service oscillates between very warm hospitality and surprising coldness, depending on the waiters and the evenings. Those seeking orthodox Japanese cuisine may find some dishes too reinterpreted, and while prices are reasonable for the promenade, this isn't the city's cheapest option.
The dish to order: the sushi, with salmon at the top. The pitfall: accepting a table inside, which is noisier, when the glass-walled terrace still has space. Service every day from noon to midnight, starting at 11 a.m. on Thursdays.
