Our review
Lagon & Jardin
Set within the gardens of the Palace Es Saadi in Hivernage, Lagon & Jardin opens directly onto the large lagoon-shaped swimming pool. Reviewed by Alexandre Danan, the restaurant serves organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs from the Potager du Bled, following the rhythm of the harvests. At noon, you assemble your salad at the bar while looking towards the oven-baked Dakhla octopus or the bluefin tuna ceviche.
The light-filled dining room and the palm-tree-shaded terrace invite you to linger: the smiling, attentive staff, without being overbearing, lets time flow. In the afternoon, it's time for tea and working on your laptop; in the evening, a dedicated menu takes over. On Sundays, the brunch is accompanied by musicians, quick grills, fish, and prawns, along with pétanque, art exhibitions, and a kids' club to keep everyone occupied. Perfect for families or a day out with friends.
Know this: the Sunday brunch costs 950 dirhams per person, or 1,250 with pool access, and booking is recommended. During the week, lunch ends at 3 p.m. For a genuine quiet break without leaving the city, this is a sure bet.
