Le ClubHouse Robuchon review: our verdict
Behind the large glass windows lie the greens of the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam: the ClubHouse bears the Robuchon name in a brasserie style, featuring homemade dishes, beautifully presented, and desserts that keep you seated. On the menu, we aim for eggplant caviar, kingfish carpaccio, or beef fillet.
In the morning, this is the best deal at the place: breakfast and brunch cost less than lunch, and the room lends itself to family gatherings, to the point that some travel all the way from Casablanca. On the other hand, it's better not to come at noon hoping for a great table from a Michelin-starred chef: skimpy Caesar salad, reduced menu during Ramadan, service that varies from visit to visit. The setting, however, remains the strong point, even on off days.
The right slot: the morning, from 7:30 am Tuesday to Sunday, for breakfast or brunch facing the golf. The dish to order: eggplant caviar, followed by a dessert. The trap: lunch during Ramadan, when the menu consists of two starters, two daily dishes, and two sandwiches.
