Manifica Spa review: our verdict
Arch mirrors framed in golden light, a pink velvet salon behind a rope barrier, and pedicure chairs beneath a living wall: Manifica Spa crafts its décor like a high-end beauty institute. Yet the heart of the house remains the royal hammam, featuring a proper Moroccan scrub before the massage.
You spend two hours for a hammam, massage, and hair treatment package, for yourself or as a gift. The staff speaks French, prices are clearly stated, and bookings are made via WhatsApp: reassuring when you are passing through Tangier. The owner attends to every client, and many return. This is not a traditional neighborhood hammam, nor a quick, cheap scrub spot: here, you come for the full session.
The treatment to book: the royal hammam, completed with a one-hour massage. The bargain: opt for a package combining hammam, massage, and hair or pedicure treatment, rather than each service separately. The pitfall: come on a Monday, as the institute is closed; it opens from 11 am to 9 pm on other days.
