MÄYLI GELATO review: our verdict
A ball of verbena, one of mango: at MÄYLI GELATO, the scents change from the classics without veering into gimmickry. Everything is made on-site, with natural flavors and a creamy yet light texture that you finish without feeling weighed down. Vanilla, the more sensible option, also holds its own.
The team offers a taste before you decide, which makes all the difference when you're torn between three flavors. The shop is modern, clean, and air-conditioned, making it a welcome break during a stroll along Avenue Mohamed Sijelmassi, whether alone, with a partner, or with the kids. Lovers of overflowing cones and very sweet flavors, beware: here, portions are measured and flavors play it fine, to the point of seeming too subtle for some palates.
The tip: ask to taste before choosing, the team offers it on their own. The dish to order: verbena, or mango for fruit lovers. The best time slot: the afternoon, between noon and 8 pm; the shop closes on Mondays.
