Medina Heritage review: our verdict
Medina Heritage combines three distinct spaces within a house in the Ksour quarter, just 400 meters from Jemaa el-Fna: on the ground floor, M Vitrine, a concept store featuring artisanal crafts and handmade creations; next to it, M Exhibition, a 100 m² hall dedicated to art exhibitions, concerts, and workshops; and at the top, M Rooftop, a restaurant terrace facing the Koutoubia.
It is the rooftop that draws visitors: a Moroccan and international kitchen cooked at low temperatures, offering vegan and gluten-free options, alongside cocktails and mint mojitos made with organic mint grown on the terrace. Whether for a romantic dinner facing the minaret, a night out with friends, or a gift discovered while browsing the shop, reservations are mandatory; this venue is not suitable for impromptu drinks.
The best time to visit is at sunset, before the Koutoubia lights up. Watch out for confusion with neighboring rooftops bearing similar names; look for the Medina Heritage sign. Note that a deposit of €10 per person secures the table, deducted from the final bill, and a 10% service charge is automatically included in 2025.
