Napolitano review: our verdict
Everything comes down to the dough. Napolitano prepares it in the Neapolitan style, soft and flavorful, serving up pizzas that are generously topped without holding back. Surprisingly for an Italian establishment, the burger has its loyalists: soft bread made in-house, grilled chicken cutlet, and a light sauce. The homemade touch is evident all the way to the tiramisu, which the team sometimes slips out as a complimentary treat.
The dining room is compact and the staff attentive, giving the place a neighborhood canteen vibe. It's a spot for a group of friends who want to eat without ceremony, or for a late dinner: open every day from noon until 2 a.m., with a break on Fridays in the early afternoon. Not suitable for a fifteenth birthday celebration due to lack of space, nor for those seeking a white-tablecloth trattoria. The pastas, including the bolognese, are decent but not the reason to visit.
The dish to order: any pizza, since the dough makes all the difference, followed by the tiramisu. The best tip: the burger on house-made bread, to change things up without changing your address.
