Pomodoro review: our verdict
The decor suggests a neighborhood trattoria, with red-and-white striped tablecloths tied in bows, a brick wall, framed pictures of seaside villages, and a neon sign reading "la pizza buona di natura". On the plate, it's more serious: wood-fired pizzas with well-puffed, speckled crusts and fresh toppings, featuring whole burrata on arugula up to more loaded versions.
It's a family affair, evident at the welcome, the team's smiles, and the cleanliness of the premises. The dining room, with its black banquettes, suits a family dinner or a gathering with friends, and delivery arrives quickly and hot. This isn't a downtown address for tourists: you're in Bni Makada, far from the corniche, and you must want to come here.
The good tip: delivery, fast and well-heated. The good time slot: evening, as the house stays open until 1 a.m. The trap: on Fridays, it only opens at 2 p.m.
