Porta Lisboa review: our verdict
During the CAN, a group of fans made it their headquarters, and it's easy to see why: at Porta Lisboa, the atmosphere is always up to the mark. The varied menu focuses on Lisbon with shareable petiscos, fresh produce, and well-presented, generous plates for their price. The chef sometimes comes out to welcome guests in the dining room.
The establishment is located at the JM Suites Hotel, in the city center, where you'll meet families spanning three generations, couples, and groups of friends. The staff is responsive and smiling, quickly recognizing regular faces, and prices remain fair. Those looking for author Portuguese cuisine or a quiet dinner will be disappointed: here, you share dishes and good spirits.
The catch: if you drop by without booking, the dining room fills up quickly. The tip: order several petiscos to sample a wide variety. Open every day, from noon until 12:45 AM.
