Restaurant Souss Fish review: our verdict
Here, you order by pointing to your fish: the kitchen grills it to order, and the freshness is tasted on the very first bite. The restaurant, just steps from the fish market, also serves fried dishes that have their loyal followers and salads to wait on.
It is a popular neighborhood spot, with no frills or pretensions, where people come to eat the fish of the day at a good price, with family or friends. The service, provided by a young, active team, can seem disorganized, and cooking to order takes time. Those in a hurry or who want a white tablecloth and precise, clockwork service will not find their match here; lovers of raw produce, however, will.
The dish to order: the fish chosen on the spot and grilled, shared with a fry. The trap: come on a Friday, the day it is closed; on other days, the kitchen runs from 12:30 to 23:30. Budget 60 DH for a salad (as of April 2026).
