Sabich Marrakech review: our verdict
No dining room, just a small spot to sit facing each other or on chairs placed in the alleyway: Sabich Marrakech embraces its stand format. Everything happens at the counter, where ingredients are lined up in full view and every pita is generously assembled to order with fresh vegetables and boldly seasoned sauces.
It's the quick lunch for a day of sightseeing around the Dar el Bacha palace, served swiftly by an adorable team playing music. The manager doesn't slack on any order, and the crowd gathering in front of the stand speaks enough of the establishment's reputation. Not for a drawn-out seated meal, nor for dinner: you eat on the go, and everything closes at 6:30 PM.
The insider tip: grab your pita to take away before or after visiting the palace, rather than hoping for a table that doesn't exist. The place opens every day from 10:30 AM, perfect for a salty lunch right after the morning.
