Our review
Located at kilometer 12 on the road to Amizmiz, within the Fairmont Royal Palm grounds, Al Aïn is the Moroccan dining table of the resort. The cuisine stays true to tradition, with a few Lebanese nods: a beautiful selection of starters to begin, followed by hearty and genuinely aromatic dishes. The decor blends zellige, arabesques, and contemporary lines, under the soft light of lanterns.
In the evening, musicians set up with oud and derbouka, sometimes a singer, setting the tone without overpowering conversations. On the terrace, the view stretches over the golf course to the mountains. Service is attentive, and regulars find the same smiling faces from one visit to the next. A good table for a couple's or family dinner: children under 5 eat for free, and those aged 6-12 can choose between a children's menu or half-price adult menu.
Note: the restaurant is 12 kilometers from the city, service is only in the evening from 6 pm to 11 pm, and it's best to book. In summer, the restaurant sometimes reduces its opening days; a quick call before heading out avoids disappointment. For a Moroccan evening with music, far from the crowds of the medina, this is a lovely option.
