Alphais Spa review: our verdict
Small oil containers lined up on a tray, where you select your own before the massage, set the tone at Alphais Spa for a house attentive to every detail. A robe beforehand, a towel wrap afterward, a hammam, an exfoliation, a full forty-five-minute massage, followed by loungers with mint tea and homemade biscuits.
Mothers and daughters, whole families, friends on vacation: the place lends itself to shared moments, with a refined decor and a cocoon-like atmosphere. You can extend your stay with a manicure or pedicure in a neighboring salon, just a three-minute walk away, where a hostess will accompany you. The entrance, via a small alley off Derb Lalla Zouina, is unassuming, and those who judge a spa by its facade risk walking right past without stepping inside.
The good tip: combine the hammam and massage, then stay on the loungers for the tea. The pitfall: the henna, less convincing than the rest, whose design may fade in a few days. Treatments available every day from 9 am to 8 pm.
