Mandala Society Marrakech review: our verdict
In a medina that never lowers its volume, a peaceful terrace is a rare find, and Mandala Society has certainly understood this. This healthy café on Riad Zitoun el Jdid Street serves creative and balanced cuisine, best experienced at brunch: salmon bagel, breakfast burger, fruit island crepes, honey and orange blossom, sweet potato fries. The dishes arrive beautifully presented, and the taste follows suit.
Vegetarians will find enough to compose their meal, and oat milk is available, a rare detail in the quarter. Guests are received with natural ease, and the staff knows how to advise. Whether alone with wifi, two for a brunch that stretches out, or between friends after the souks, the formula works at reasonable prices. Not for a festive dinner or a large, noisy gathering: the place lives at the pace of a café.
The dish to order: brunch, to share to taste both the salty and the sweet. The trap: the matcha, served very pale, even after complaint (January 2026); lovers will rather take a coffee, much better. Open every day from 9:30 am to 10:30 pm.
