Batbut Pita Kitchen review: our verdict
No lunch at Batbut: the kitchen opens at 3 p.m. and stays open until 2 a.m., or 2:30 a.m. on weekends. The concept lives up to its name: Lebanese street food served around the batbout, but in a lighter version than usual. The hummus comes with its falafels, the chicken batbout owes everything to its marinade, and the whole menu aims to be healthy, with fries as an exception.
Opened in autumn 2025 near Massira, the restaurant compensates for its youth with its hospitality: a smiling, attentive team from entry to coffee, and cleanliness that jumps out. The atmosphere remains calm, without music drowning out conversation. Perfect for a light dinner for two or a late-night craving on weekdays. Avoid it with a group of colleagues: the dining room is small and large parties won't find their place.
Dish to order: the falafel hummus, then the chicken batbout. The good tip: delivery, for evenings when there are too many people for the dining room. The mixed skewers, however, remain a notch below the rest of the menu.
