Café Clock Marrakech review: our verdict
Camel burger, harira, and bissara: Café Clock Marrakech offers a menu blending Moroccan and American diner fare, served in a Kasbah house with white and blue walls, a patio, murals, and a rooftop terrace. Yet visitors come as much for the programming as for the food: live music on certain evenings, Moroccan cooking classes, and cultural meetups.
The staff is friendly and the house is buzzing all week. It's perfect for a break between visits, a relaxed dinner among curious travelers, or a first taste of local cuisine; it's not ideal for a rushed meal, as service can be slow, nor for a large group, since the kitchen remains simple and dishes vary in quality. The portions, however, are honest: two people can easily manage four dishes, including dessert if there's room.
The dish to order: the camel burger, for the novelty. The catch: card payments only, with a minimum spend required. The best time to go: sunset on the terrace, when it's open.
