Groove Coffee review: our verdict
The brunch is the reason to come. Poached eggs on toasted bread with hollandaise sauce, beef bacon, a croissant that truly smells of butter, and traditional-style bread: Groove Coffee takes care of the details that make the difference on weekends. The decor follows the trend, with golden chandeliers, green velvet banquettes, glass pendants, and a lit staircase leading to the upper floor.
You come here for brunch with friends, a lunch of salad or sandwich in the heart of Guéliz, or a sweet afternoon break in the tea lounge. The room can even be reserved for a family gathering. This is not the address for big appetites: in the set menus, portions are measured, and the bill can seem high for what you find on the plate.
The dish to order: the brunch, for the croissant and the eggs. The trap: relying on a set menu to satisfy a big hunger. To know: open every day from 9 am to 7:30 pm, no dinner.
